The Old Vicarage wedding in the beautiful Kent countryside with Sarah & Ted was truly special. No detail was left unturned from the hop themed archway, the hanging frame photo booth (with a suit of armour), the garden games, brown sack race and a full working outside bar set up by Ted’s business The Itchy Pig. The sunshine and warm spirits brought out the best in the photographs, the people were amazing and created the most relaxed atmosphere for a wedding. It may have helped however when Ted demanding everyone needed to have a drink in hand for the ceremony. later on in the day, I took Sarah and Ted of for a walk during the golden evening light, we got some amazing shots which included the local wildlife aha.

I asked Sarah and Ted a few questions about their wedding.
  • In Soyo (a nightclub in Sheffield, South Yorkshire) over rum and cokes
  • In the Peak District on a picnic in the sunshine on the 17.07.17 (not planned!)
  • Sarah – he manages to find the sunshine even on a grey day.
Ted – she manages to make my chaotic life flow like a dream effortlessly.
  • We celebrated our marriage in the garden of Ted’s parent home in rural Kent. We were so lucky that they allowed us to enjoy their beautiful view and no other venue could have come close for us.
  • We didn’t really want to subscribe to a theme or limit ourselves! Essentially Ted ended up having a beer festival with a bride.
  • The little moments – spotting each other across the garden, walking through the park having our couple photos taken and seeing all of the people we love having an absolute ball.
  • Scott’s enthusiasm, professionalism and genuine interest in helping us to remember all the lovely memories.
  • Enjoy it! Do it your way but remember that it is only one day – you are setting the tone for your lives together so make sure you have no regrets. Whether it is a registry office with 2 witnesses, a beach in the Bahamas, your local church or a garden in Kent. Make sure you enjoy every moment. It shouldn’t be stressful! Life is stressful enough without one day of your life taking up all of your efforts, savings and enjoyment.
