I recently had the pleasure of photographing Yasmin and Ewan's wedding at The George in Rye. Located in the heart of the historic, cobbled citadel of Rye, this stunning 16th-century coaching inn is a truly exquisite wedding venue, combining chic, contemporary design with rich, classic English heritage and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The day was filled with joy as family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple in the venue's magnificent, light-filled Ballroom. Guests enjoyed the vibrant hospitality and unique character of the venue, drifting effortlessly between the elegant reception rooms and the beautiful, hidden courtyard garden, adding a relaxed and intimate element of fun to the celebration.

As a photographer, I specialize in a documentary style of wedding photography. This means that I focus on capturing raw, non-posed moments that truly reflect the genuine emotions of the day. I believe in preserving those real, candid moments that showcase the love and connection between real people.

The historic town of Rye provides a spectacular backdrop for any wedding, and The George proved to be the perfect setting for Yasmin and Ewan's special day. The combination of the inn's historic charm, stylish interiors, and the romance of the surrounding coastal town created an enchanting ambience that made for stunning photographs.
